We put Parker in a week long swim boot camp with an instructor named Kaleb, at the recommendation of a friend. He guarantee he will have any kid over the age of 3 swimming after the week and with Mexico coming, we wanted that. I had no idea what to expect and frankly I don't know if I'd do it again for Parker (personality wise). He definitely learned to swim, even dive for rings. But we found out at the end of that week that he'd not only been suffering from an ear infection, but a ruptured eardrum the entire week, and we'd made him swim!!! Oh the pressure! Poor baby. You can only imagine my guilt.

July 4th festivities
Trophy Club always has an annual parade (and race that we skipped this year). Saturday, watched the parade at our friends' house and the kids loved it and later went to another friends' to watch the neighborhood fireworks! They are amazing!!! It's probably as good, if not better than New Year's Eve! This is such a fun day for the kids!
Sunday, we went to the Hollmans' for a get together and swim party. We later watched fireworks at the Four Seasons. It was a jam packed patriotic weekend!

Lifetime Swim Lessons
Parker began swim lessons at Lifetime and he loves them. His teacher is Miss Chelsea. Not sure he's actually learning to swim though. Looks like he's just doing a lot of playing with a really pretty girl. But he sure is cute!

Easter
We had Bubba up for Easter and enjoyed brunch at the country club and an early morning egg hunt! That bunny sure does hide well! But the kids were great hunters and enjoyed the treats!

Second Hawaii Trip!
Thank goodness for customer(s) in Hawaii! Dustin has to visit them. We went back to Honolulu for our annual visit so Dustin could visit with them, and managed to have some fun while there. Oh, and run the Hapalua Half Marathon while there. It was my first over 2 hour marathon, a sign that I may need to take a break soon and heed these nagging knee/bunion/it band injuries but you know me.. I'll probably keep running til something more serious happens. Our official time was 2:02:03 and sweet Dust stayed with me the whole time.
The rest of the trip was filled with food, drink, shopping, sun and a little sailing. Such a nice trip and great that we got to stay a week! The kids were in good hands with both grandparents splitting the time.
