As you know, Dusty and I are huge college football fans. So it should be no surprise that we are brainwashing Carleigh at an early age (unless she wants to go ivy league ... that's fine, too). So we've started a tradition on game days to get her geared up in burnt orange and come early, be loud and stay late!!! (If you are a Longhorn, you know that saying). This is a new tradition since we gave up our season tickets :( but it is a great time to enjoy the games in the comfort of our house (though, honey if you are reading this, I do love going to the games)!

Anyways, today was the game against Texas Tech and though it wasn't the slaughter we thought it would be, we did beat them 34-24. A very good game, indeed. We warmed Carleigh up on her play mat and she was in game mode by kickoff!!!

Her cheerleading outfit was a bit big but will fit her nicely by the end of the season. By 2, she will hopefully know the Texas fight song! Here are a few older longhorn pics (from days 5-10 of her life):
