Yesterday, Parker had his 2 week doctor appointment and boy has he grown! He came into the world at a mere 7 lbs 2 oz (30%) and 19.5 inches (40%) and his stats were quite impressive yesterday!!!
He was 8 lbs 8 oz (45 %) and 21.25 inches (70%) and Dr. Pauli said everything looked great with him! We have no real concerns with him right now aside from wondering when the little guy is going to wake up! He said to count our blessings and give it time.
I looked back to Carleigh's stats at this time and granted she is a girl, but she was much more petite and at 2 weeks, was only 7 lbs 6 oz and 21 inches long (which was very long and lean for girls). It's hard to compare the kids' weight/height since boys/girls measure up differently but it will be interesting to see how their baby temperments compare. So far, it's too early, but the fussiness/colic/digestive issues started at 2.5 weeks with Carleigh and she was much more alert at this point ... we shall see with Parker! Perhaps, he will be more laid back?
