Wednesday, Gigi and I took Carleigh to Sea World while Mimi watched Parker. The park is all decked out for Christmas and is really pretty this time of year. It was quite chilly out but nothing could curtail Carleigh's excitement!
We had to see the dolphins multiple times, the sea lions, otters and walruses! Feeding and looking at the animals never gets old!
We went into the Bay of Play and rode the carousel. It was so much fun to have some one on one time with Carleigh!
They even had snow machines blowing snow and Carleigh almost enjoyed running through the snow more than seeing the animals. Almost ....
She did get really tired and cold so we took a break and had some hot chocolate. Though Carleigh was happy and having fun almost the whole time, when nap time passed and we were still at the park, she had a little "no" moment. Anything we suggested to do (go to a show, see more animals, go home) was given a "no" response.
But she rebounded and we made it to the Shamu Christmas Show!
Carleigh never ceases to be amazed by Shamu's skills!
